Moving away from assembly lines and mass production practices, Frilly is a fashion company based on a philosophy that pushes hand-crafted, made-to-order apparel to the forefront of their core disciplines. They’ve taken the atelier experience and brought it right to the customer’s fingertips in an intimate and virtual one.
In preparation for their launch, Frilly was in the pre-production phases of planning shoots for their artisanal collections. In addition to photo, they wanted to capture the essence and elegance of each piece and showcase it in a way that allowed customers to understand the quality and care put into each design.
We joined an unbelievably talented creative team to shoot the lookbook videos for two of Frilly’s collections, Saltt and Herron. We collaborated with our friends renowned photographer Grant Legan, mega-influencer Olivia Lopez, and creative guru Vivianne Lapointe on the shoots. The videos were well received by everyone!
At the time, we were only the second team to have shot at the John Lautner Hotel in Desert Hot Spring!
Following our mantra of creating big with a minimal footprint, we were able to produce two stunning videos for Frilly with a single shooter, triple-digit temperatures, and limited hours.
